File Manager in Shared Website Hosting
The File Manager tool, that's part of our in-house built Hepsia CP, allows you to administer all of the files you upload to your shared website hosting account without any difficulty. You may move files and whole folders by dragging-and-dropping them inside the account. You can upload content in the same way - pick a file/folder on your PC and drag it to your Internet browser where the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder in your account, you can also access context menus with more advanced options - you shall be able to set up or to unpack an archive, to create a password-protected area, to change the UNIX permissions using a web interface or to edit the content with various editors without ever leaving the CP – a code editor, an HTML editor or a plain text editor. We have also added help articles and video tutorials, which you may access right from the File Manager to get more information about its functions.
File Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
The File Manager tool, which is an integral part of our custom Hepsia website hosting Control Panel, shall give you complete control over your data and will take away the need of employing third-party applications. If you wish to upload a file to your semi-dedicated server account, you will only need to drag-and-drop it, since the File Manager supports uploads, so you'll not need to use an FTP client anymore. You'll also be able to transfer folders and files inside your account just as easily and their structure will be kept unchanged. If you'd like to change the permissions of any file, to create a password-protected area for a domain or a subdomain or to edit a file using a plain text or an HTML editor, you will only need to use the right-click, given that you can access all these functions through right-click context menus - you’ll feel as though you’re working on your computer system. To make handling your content so much easier, you'll be able to sort it in ascending or descending order by size, name or last modified date.
